Rachel is a graduate student in the Mankse Lab and the Bone Imaging Lab working on bone micro architectural adaptation and is co-supervised by Dr. Steven Boyd. She has a long history of summer research work at the lab prior to starting as a graduate student, with positions in 2021, 2022, and 2023! Rachel is a retired national team luge athlete who is fascinated by everything bone. Focusing in osteology, she plans on continuing onto further graduate school and medical school. She enjoys reading, running, and cycling in her spare time.
